I can now reveal that the ???Mystery Artist??? song “Certain Circles” is Dean Fertita’s project Hello=Fire!

I’ve had the album for quite a while but was waiting for news about the album release before really talking it up!

I would have been happy with that REM setlist. Not too heavy with the new stuff. I’d love to hear stuff from Reckoning, but that’s probably not going to happen, eh?

I'm pretty much a definite for going, just trying to sort out a place to stay. either crashing someone's house or someone's hotel room. I've got a few feelers out there.

I will definitely be going a day early on the 11th, as I know of a few things that go on that day/night and will either leave real late sunday or sometime on Monday.

is shannon going too?!

You should go! I’ve never been… 2008 will be my first time @ SXSW. I’m arriving in Austin a day early (March 11) and leaving a day after it all ends (March 17). Would be great to hang out with you and catch a show or two or ten.

Wow Lauree, even though I wasn’t there at any of these shows you speak of, your words paint poignant pictures in my minds eye. I can see you (and Jeremy and Amy and Adam…and and..) driving down the turnpike at 3 AM. I can see you staring up into the stratosphere upon your arrival to the Port House. I can see you standing in a crowded club space, eyes closed, letting the music take you to an extraordinary place called “living in the moment” that so many of us wish to accomplish yet never achieve.

Hi! According to the results, if I were an REM album, it would be "Up!"

Personally, I do not own that album and have never heard it... I hope it's good and nice and considerate and helpful and caring and makes people laugh. Because that would be me.
